Fun fact from an ex-academic

I thought I’d be an academic the rest of my life. Hard pivot.

I went all in. Doctorate all-in. Something folks today probably don’t know about me is that I hold a doctorate.

I don’t lead with this in my everyday life. It’s not part of my professional identity as much as it used to be, but I am proud of the work I put in and the support I received from my committee.
