I became a Wealthfront customer a few years ago. I remember vividly being in JFK airport waiting for my flight, doing research on Wealthfront. Here’s what sold me:
It is a very DIY experience. No interruptions from spammy outreach.
The APY was one of the highest.
The customer service was amazing.
The user experience of their mobile app and website: seamless
Recently they launched quicker transfers to external banks.
Not a deal-breaker or a priority, but noticeable: Their marketing isn’t stale. It’s relatable, helpful, and comprehensive.
They favor people, not institutions.
