What I did before working in tech

Before I entered tech, I was working in higher education in the Study Abroad space.

My roles varied, but I worked on what folks in the industry call “both sides” — so the “provider” side and the institution side. The provider sold programs to the universities and the institutions either had their own programs or used the provider programs.

I did everything from advising students on their semester and academic year abroad programs, to working with faculty, managing international partnerships, enrollment management, marketing, crisis management, and everything in between.

I liked it a lot. But happy I’m in tech now.
