Mini-series wrap up: Career hacks

This mini-series has been fun. Here are 5 more career hacks:

• Depth over breadth: I want to be really good at something, know it well, do it well. Focus. (Perhaps I need to take my own advice on the themes of my newsletter lol)

• College isn’t everything: Grades too. It’s just 1 sliver of a sliver of a sliver of the pie.

• Be reliable and responsive: That’s it, that’s the hack.

• Negotiate the offer: If not base salary, bring another benefit into the conversation.

• Accountability: Do what you say you’re going to do, and hold others to their word too.
