Marketing and the word "excited"

It's implied you're excited, no?

If you announced a new product or service, or a personal/professional update, and you couldn’t use “excited” or “I’m/We’re excited to…,” what would you say?

I don’t normally use this opening word in my content, especially content that announces something big or an update to a product.

It’s not about me. It’s implied I’m excited to share it, or else I wouldn’t.

What I do instead is speak to the end user. It’s about them:

  • Say hello to…

  • Your [said experience] just got better…

  • [just say what you mean]

Think about that old iPod ad: “1000 songs in your pocket.”
