Job descriptions need an update

I recently shared something on Linkedin about job descriptions.

We need to normalize companies being transparent (or as transparent as they can be) with their tech stack. I recognize sometimes they may not be able to disclose it for whatever reason, but the company comms tool—please. It needs to be part of the “About the company section.”

I’ll withdraw myself from a position if the team doesn’t use Slack. It’s one of my few negotiable at work.

For as long as I am working in corporate, or really for any type of similar situation, Slack is the answer. Full stop.
