Jacob's jobs: Part 4

Back on track

After college, I went to grad school, so working full time wasn’t the priority. I wanted to focus fully on my program. So I taught Sunday School and tutored on the side.

From there, I started my work in higher education. I worked as a live-in resident counselor for PACE: a program meeting the transitional needs for young adults with intellectual, learning and developmental disabilities. Loved it. I got to work directly with the students and supported them as they transitioned into living on their own. Amazing program.

This role I only had a year. Stay tuned for what’s next!
