Credit cards in 2025: What's in my wallet

Every credit card I’ve owned has served me a purpose: Travel, food, wellness, corporate, you get the picture.

I’m not changing much in 2025 compared to the latter half of 2024. Two cards only:

AMEX Gold ($325 annual fee)

• $120 Uber cash /yr

• $84 Dunkin’ /yr

• $120 Dining credit /yr

• …consider the annual fee paid for and those aren’t even all the perks.

AMEX Platinum ($695 annual fee)

• $185 Uber cash /yr

• $120 entertainment credit /yr

• $300 Equinox credit /yr

• $200 airline fee credit /yr

• …once again, consider the annual fee paid for, plus more perks I haven’t redeemed yet.
