Behind the scenes at work

I run Community programs at a small lil company called Slack (a Salesforce company).

Here’s a peek into my day:

• Content moderation across all web platforms

• Working with procurement to ensure contracts get signed and people get paid

• Operating a swag store. This means: inventory, shipments, restocking, and most important: bringing people joy.

• Strategy and planning: How my work and department align to overall business goals. This is inclusive of ensuring our user community has a presence at on-site events.

• Budget oversight

• Supporting Slack Community leaders (our biggest fans!)

• Writing content (product updates, events, blogs, emails, program announcements)
