5 networking strategies in my toolkit

I’m always networking. Here’s my approach:

1. Online presence: I put myself online (i.e. Linkedin), sharing content and engaging with others’ content. (More Linkedin insights later)

2. Professional networks: I join networks of Community pros. The value’s always there. We understand each other because we understand the work.

3. Industry events: Attending IRL and virtual events helps keep the relationship-building going.

4. I’m relentless about follow-up: I never want to be known as someone who is hard to get in touch with.

5. The power of introductions: Don’t be shy to ask for an intro to someone. I love being the connector.
