5 more career hacks

It continues

These five will all touch on resume hacks:

  • Summary paragraphs are overrated. Delete them. Instead, try a tagline for yourself under your name. Almost like a subtitle for yourself that gives the reader a glimpse into who you are.

  • Use keywords: Use keywords you find in the job description, within your resume. This helps with ATS (applicant tracking systems)

  • It’s not your life story: Keep your resume focused and measurable

  • Use numbers: Come up with any excuse to show numbers; quantify your work experience.

  • Linkedin profile link: Make the LI profile URL clickable. Sounds obvious but can easily be missed.
